COVID-19 Update and Information

Greenwich West Children’s Centres will begin to reopen on Monday 12th October and we cannot wait to see you all face to face. Life for us at the Centres has had to change and sadly we cannot go back to pre-lockdown days and run the amount of groups and courses we did, due to the current restrictions.
Your safety is of upmost importance to us, so in order to keep you and your child safe we will have to run a reduced program and follow government guidelines to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
The groups we are running will be aimed at non crawling babies, this is so we can adhere to the social distancing rule. Room space at our Centres is limited and so this has reduced the amount of adults and children we can facilitate in a room. We will review to see how it is working and then we will look to put on groups for more mobile babies and toddlers.
Like many nurseries and schools we have made changes to how we enter the building. Designated 2m markers will be outside the entrances, and we ask you to wear a mask and sanitise hands when signing in. A one way system will also be in operation in some of our Centres.
To make things a little fairer we are booking families on for four week sessions. That way we can see more families as we truly have missed you all. We will be asking you to book onto these via Eventbrite. So please continue to check the website as we will be putting up the new timetable and how to book really soon. We will also continue to run our Zoom groups.
It has been a long time for the Centres to be closed, but we have been and continue to navigate our way through difficult and uncertain times, in order to run a safe service where we can meet again. We thank you for your patience.
