Parent Forum

Quaggy Parent Forum is made up of local parents and service users who want to be involved in the provision of activities and events for local families. The Forum organises Summer trips, Easter and Halloween events and provides support to the Children’s Centre and helps it reflect on service and practice.

We are excited to have recently received funding from The Big Lottery to develop a project for the local community. Quaggy Community Conversations is a course run for parents to complete a piece of action research. Starting early 2019 this course will start and will run for 10 weeks for 2 hours per week. After the course fidnings from research with the local community the findings will identify the kinds of activities that Quaggy Parent Forum will put on for the local community. If you are interested in either coming on this course and joining the Quaggy Parent Forum please contact us on the link below.

NEW COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS COURSE STRATING IN FEBRUARY - ALL WELCOME

We have received funding from the Big Lottery to put on a course for mums, dads and carers. It is an exciting opportunity to develop fantastic activities for the local community. The course is 10 weeks for 2 hours. It will teach you how to complete a piece of action research with the community to find out what they would like to see put on as events and activities. If you wish, after the course is delivered, you can get involved in the delivery of activities and enjoy them with your child. Also you can join our Parent Forum and continue to make a difference in your community. There is a free creche and the course is free too.
