Quaggy Development Trust is a charitable voluntary organisation looking to recruit staff for our Children's Centre and Nurseries. We are committed to delivering high quality, sustainable childcare as well as a range of other community services. 

We are looking to recruit dedicated, motivated, well-trained staff for our Children's Centre and Nurseries who are passionate about improving the lives of local children and families. These are full time and part time Early Years Practitioner and Early Years Assistant positions at our Lewisham Children's Centre, Quaggy at Invicta Nursery and Quaggy at Parkside Nursery.

Vacancy - Quaggy Cafe

Café Supervisor  

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm

Do you have experience of working in a café? 

We are looking for a Café Supervisor to work in our Quaggy Café which is based in Greenwich, London SE10.

Duties will include:

  • supervising the café team, food ordering, stock taking/control and working in line with the Safer Food Better Business practice, taking food and beverage orders, serving, clearing, washing up/putting away.
  • Some food preparation will also be required.

Barista experience desired but training can be provided.

Early Years Assistant

Quaggy Development Trust – Greenwich West

We require Early Years Assistants with a minimum qualification of level 2 Childcare to work at Quaggy Development Trust. They should be able to demonstrate a commitment to assisting and supporting the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged 3 months - 5 years.

Early Years Practitioner

Quaggy Development Trust – Greenwich West

We require full and part time practitioners with a minimum qualification of Level 3 Childcare. They should be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the ability to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage for children age d 3 months - 5 years.

Counselling Service Lead

Salary Scale £32,000-£36,000

Quaggy Development Trust is a Charitable Trust organisation based on the borders of Greenwich and Lewisham delivering a range of services for local children and families.

We require a Counselling Service Lead to lead and develop Quaggy Community Counselling Service; a low cost community service which is an accredited member of the BACP.

You will work within an integrated community service as part of the Leadership Team, developing strong partnerships and delivering mental health and wellbeing support services with vision and direction.

The post is 37.5 hours per week; some of which will be evenings and occasional Saturdays.
