Early Years Assistant

We require Early Years Assistants with a minimum qualification of level 2 Childcare to work at Quaggy Development Trust. They should be able to demonstrate a commitment to assisting and supporting the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged 3 months – 5 years.

Early Years Practitioner

Quaggy Development Trust – Greenwich West

We require full and part time practitioners with a minimum qualification of Level 3 Childcare. They should be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the ability to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage for children age d 3 months – 5 years.

Student Counsellors

Quaggy Development Trust – Greenwich West

The Quaggy Community Counselling Service (QCCS) is BACP accredited and offers low-cost, one to one support to adults in Lewisham and Greenwich.

We are currently recruiting student counsellors (who already have a minimum of 30 one-to-one client hours) to deliver either face-to-face or on-line sessions across a range of daytime and evening slots. We are anticipating increased demand for our services as we come out of lockdown and want to be in a good position to support both the current and emerging mental health needs of the local community.

We can provide you with three clients per week, induction training, fortnightly group and termly one-to-one supervision, quarterly CPD training days and on-going clinical support.  Clients present with a wide range of issues, including perinatal anxiety, depression, domestic violence, trauma, poor self-esteem and relationship difficulties.

Wellbeing Practitioner

Quaggy Development Trust – To work across the Greenwich West Children’s Centres
Salary Scale £21,372 – £26,845 based on a 37.5hr week

 We require Wellbeing Practitioners to work with families and provide services at the Children’s Centre’s in an integrated team with Health colleagues. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years direct work with parents and children in an Early Years or community setting. The successful applicant must be flexible, have good organisational skills and be a positive dynamic team player that is passionate about supporting families to make changes.

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (3 of which to be taken at Christmas)
Sickness benefits depending on length of service.

Quaggy Café Cook/Supervisor

Job Title: Café Cook/Supervisor (Quaggy Community Café)
Pay: £21,802 to £23,599 according to experiencebased on a 37.5-hour week
Location: The Quaggy café situated on the Parkside Estate, Lewisham

The Café is a lively, vibrant and unique space delivering more than just food and drink but providing a place for people to come and meet in the local community, to learn new skills through workshops and events. The Café has facilities for 30 covers.
